Alyssa Medenblik

Hello! My name is Alyssa and I am a clinical psychology doctoral resident at UNC Chapel Hill in Addiction Medicine. I completed my doctoral training at The University of Tennessee, in the Relationship Aggression and Addictive Disorders (RAAD) Lab with Gregory Stuart, Ph.D.

My research focuses on substance use, trauma comorbidities, and women's health. Specifically, I aim to identify motivations and factors contributing to substance use unique to minoritized populations and better develop tailored interventions.
